ECO Farming on Channel 4

A recent programme on Channel 4 highlighted the efforts some farmers are going to to make their farming more sustainable.

"Amanda Owen's Farming Lives" recently featured Llyr Jones’ farm – Derwydd Farm, Corwen, Denbighshire, North Wales.

He has unwittingly adopted most of The Sustainable Party’s polices re sustainable economic growth in relation to agriculture, and is a perfect example of a micro sustainable grid, working towards being energy self-sufficient with electricity generated via a combination of hydro-electric and solar generated on the farm.

Llyr Jones's approach shows how investment in sustainable and environmentally power supplies, harnessed to other green farming methods is no barrier to growth.
